      Phast (Phase Style) integrated valve amp - 1 of only 5 made Extremely rare and likely the only 1 in the U.K. Only 5 were made by Phast. 15w integrated using an obscure tube. Output tubes are?6c19p which is from the 6C33C family, so the amplifier sounds similar to such varieties. Dynamic! Strong bass! Crystal clear highs! ?       Thank you for your help.? I think I will need to do a bit more research, however that stream box looks interesting.? In terms of streaming quality, my accuphase specs are apparently 16- 24 bit, 48kHz, I'm not familiar with what this means but I googled and the Technics website says?High-Resolution Audio (HRA) is any format beyond the 16-bit/44.1kHz CD standard, and HRA recordings normally use 24-bit encoding, allowing a much wider dynamic range than CD, and sampling rates all the way up to

      They appeal to me too?. Where I struggle is the big cost increments for each relatively small increment in bass extension from the SCM40s upwards. There are probably other differences too of course.

      Very sad news. In my 'serious' days, I used Olympus a great deal, alongside medium format. The colour rendition of the Zuiko stuff was always a bit special. I still have two OM bodies in the drawer here, plus about half a dozen original Zuiko lenses. Ironically, for hobby use now I am all Pentax for DSLR, so if they go as well, I'll have a matching collection
