On May 1st, 2020 the Hull Library will be reopen to the public. As we proceed with learning how best to serve our community in these uncertain times we ask that you grant us your understanding with the new, temporary measures we have in place. Our primary concern is for the safety of our staff, patrons, and community.

With this in mind we are operating under temporary hours of operation. These hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 10:00am- 4:00pm, Wednesday from 10:00am- 7:00pm, & Saturday from 9:00am- 11:00am.

Per the Governor’s instructions we will be practicing social distancing in the library. We are still happy to assist in helping you find the items you are looking for, we will just do it in a social distancing manner.

We ask that you do not use the library as a gathering place at this time. While this is something we have always appreciate in the past, in our current situation we ask that current regulations and best-practices be followed and you do not use the library as a gathering place.

Only two of our public access computers will be available for public use. A one hour per day per person time limit will be in effect on Monday-Friday and a 30 minute per day per person time limit will be in effect on Saturday.

We ask that when you check out materials you wait until all members of your party are ready to check out to approach the circulation station for this.

We will make every effort to clean and sanitize the library to the best of our abilities. This includes high-use areas and items. However, please know that especially during open hours we are not able to be everywhere every moment and so we ask you work with us to keep everyone safe!

We understand that some people will still be uncomfortable coming into a public building at this time. To accommodate those who wish to use the library without entering the building we WILL still be offering our curbside service. It will run during the library’s open hours of 10:00am- 4:00pm on Monday- Friday and 9:30am- 10:30am on Saturday.

We understand that this is all new and probably not quite as convenient as we are all used to. We look forward to when we can offer all services just as we did before but appreciate your understanding and support of these temporary measures we have in place.
